"RAW HAZEL NO. 1" Original Painting
"RAW HAZEL NO. 1" features the perfect mixture of medium brown tones and a few darker areas that add interest. This limited color palette typical for my style of painting exudes a sense of serenity while the distinct, dark brushstroke adds character to this otherwise minimalistic, neutral artwork.
My favorite part: In a few places you can see the beautiful raw canvas poking through. This also created interesting paint edges - you can tell how the paint moved before it dried.

“HAZEL”-Series
The "HAZEL"-Series features soft hazel brown colors - not too dark and not too light. Some of the pieces are painted on raw canvas: The crinkled, textured surface, the visible, imperfect edges of the loose canvas as well as the natural colors of the raw fabric achieve an organic, effortlessly elevated look.
